Adventures in Solitude

Today my plan was to go to the Museum of Fine Arts and poke around. Unsurprisingly, I got lost trying to find it–well, more like distracted. I didn’t really know where I was going and then I saw this:

and I decided to investigate. Victory Gardens are apparently all over the nation; the Fenway Victory Garden was established in the early 1940s. The gardens were Mr. President Roosevelt’s idea to supplement food shortages during WWII. People still use them today for vegetable gardens, strictly flower gardens, and a combination. So, I had to have a look:

Natalie, I’m just now reading your blog, from beginning to the present–how fun! Your writing is lyrical, spontaneous and engaging. I’m happy to see you following your heart and am delighted that it is all unfolding so beautifully for you. Savor the autumn for me as well–I really miss it here in Bangladesh. Blessings upon your adventures, and this journey to becoming the woman you are meant to be.
