I’m currently taking a break from writing Books Are the New Black. It has been a lot of fun writing this blog and seeing/reading your reactions! I hope to take it up again in the future, but no promises at this point. You can follow my reading progress on Goodreads.com if you’re so inclined.

I read nearly every spare minute that I’m not tweeting, and have merged this voracious appetite with a fashionable twist. You know how black is a flattering color on just about everyone? Well, books are the same. Everyone looks better with a little knowledge! This blog shows you how to wear your favorite books on Fashion Friday—of course, buying these outfits would leave most people as broke as the Bennet sisters, but you can always improvise.

You’re in a great city. Ellen loved the bookstore on the street. Thanks for touring us around the city that loves books almost as much as you do!

Just saw your review of my book, “How the French Invented Love.” Many thanks for your generous words. I loved the high-fashioned paring with clothes and shoes.
